_{Questions for Nicole Fiscella, one of Gossip Girl's resident fashionistas.}

_{How did you get your part on Gossip Girl?}

_{I have been modeling for years so I have a tv agent who books me on commercials.  She told me about the pilot and said that I should audition even though I have never auditioned for an acting role before.  I did and to my surprise, I got the job.  It was really amazing.}

_{What does it feel like to be part of such a popular culture phenomenon?}

_{Its really awesome!  It is so fun to see these books come to life.  The producers, directors, and all the other actors are doing such an amazing job.  I am really lucky to have my first acting job be on this show.}

_{GG portrays high-school life specific the upper class, New York City}

What was your high-school experience like?</sub>

_{Well, my experience was similar in some ways.  I think every high schooler experiences either being in a clique or the effects of not being in a clique.  I had my own crew, but we were definitely not the cool kids!}

_{How would you describe your personal style?}

_{A lot let accessorized than my character, Isabel.  I am more laid back.  A little more hippy, but still semi-trendy.  I am really into purses and shoes, though!}

_{The clothes on GG are pretty outrageous.
 
Would you ever wear them inreality?}

_{I would definitely rock some of the stuff.  It is so outrageous that it is cool.  Sometimes I like to stand out which is what those clothes are perfect for!}

_{Has being on the show inspired you to become more daring in your fashion}

_choices?

_{Not really.  I would like to but honestly I feel like more daring outfits need planning to pull them off and I have no time!}

_{Do you have any input in what you wear?}

_{Luckily the vision that the wardrobe department has for my character is exactly what I have had.  I do get to wear my super cool Japanese watch for our school scenes which is something that I chose.}

_{The show has been on hiatus due to the strike, can you give us some hints}

_on

_{What's to come in the next few episodes?}

_{I would love to give you hints if I knew anything!  We don’t find out until the last minute.  Just expect lots of drama and scandal like usual!}

_{What are you up to outside of the world of the GG show?}

_{I am currently getting my Masters in Nutrition so that keeps me very busy.  I also continue to do modeling jobs when I have a day off of the show.  I have trouble not being busy so in my life there is always something going on!}

 _{I know you have studies so what is your personal ultimate goal}

_personally?

_{My ultimate goal is to be able to do it all!  I definitely want to continue acting and modeling, but after I get my degree I would like to write and book (on nutrition) and work with all different types of people on how to improve overall nutrition.  I would especially like to work with people in my field since so many models and actors have struggled when it comes to making the right choices about their bodies.  I would also like to work in underprivileged communities and teach children how to be healthy through eating and exercise.  Making the right choices available to young people is key so good habits are developed early in life.}

_{I would also like to be a positive role model to young girls.  It is cool to be educated and social and still be in the arts or whatever type of career you wish.  Keeping busy with all of my interests has proved to be a successful way to live for me!  Everyone should do it!}
